UW-Stevens Point will host our second Point Percussion Festival! The day's events will feature performances by the UWSP Percussion Ensemble and our guest artists/performers. High school musicians interested in pursuing a major or minor in music are welcome to attend our open house. Information, class visits, and student/faculty interaction are all part of the day. Come join us! Students are encouraged to audition during this day. Please contact us ahead of time to set this up.
Featuring guest artists Ryan Keberle and Catharsis. High school musicians will take part in classes, coaching sessions, and performances throughout the day.
I am presenting a clinic session and performing the Wisconsin regional premiere of The Song of Trees for solo marimba by Keiko Abe.
I will be performing with our new College Community Chorus. Come hear some terrific literature for choir and orchestra! Works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Bernstein. Free and open to all!

Our spring concert titled Plus One will feature the WLU percussion studio plus guest performers. WLU faculty and students will be featured, as well as a special guest. Dr. Neeraj Mehta from the City University of New York. We are excited to have Dr. Mehta with us! Read more about him here. This concert promises something for everyone - from opera arias to Cuban rhythms, we guarantee it will move you!

I hope you can join me for this fun, interactive clinic focused on the performance of accessory percussion instruments. Performance techniques on tambourine, triangle, castanets, and cymbals will be addressed. Think of it as a refresher of college percussion methods course. Door prizes will be given away!
This is the first of two clinics I will present during the conference. Members of the WLU Percussion Studio will help me in presenting a sample of repertoire for the high school solo and ensemble festival. The clinic is geared towards middle and high school teachers searching for new pieces for their students. A detailed list will be distributed with level recommendations for each of the major percussion instrument families. WLU percussion majors and myself will perform excerpt from some of these pieces. Scores will be available for perusal and some music will be given away!

This is a free workshop presented by the West Liberty University Department of Music and Theatre. Open to all high school students and their parents, we hope to demystify the process of applying and auditioning to become a music major in college. If you are interested in studying music after high school, this workshop is for you!
This event will begin at 2:00 pm and take place at the WLU Highlands Campus. It is totally free of charge! Spread the word and we hope to see you there!
I am excited to work with this year's Tri-State Honor Band musicians! The event will culminate in a concert on Saturday the 23rd in College Hall.
I will present a faculty percussion solo recital in College Hall on the West Liberty University main campus. This is free and open to the public. Repertoire includes works by Andy Akiho, Bruce Hamilton, Michio Kitazume, and Andrew Thomas.
